Fayetteville
Erin and I are taking a trip to Fayetteville over the weekend to see the sights, sounds, and the possibilities of new apartments tomorrow morning. It’ll be interesting, but the ride there will be … more interesting. This will be the first time we have gone out of town together, so I’m pretty sure she’s excited to see whether or not we’ll kill each other by the end of the trip!
I use the term “off” loosely
What makes this trip possible? We’ve both been unemployed for the last 2 weeks. Temp jobs have dried up, and employment in this city is a joke.
“Yes, I sure would like to work for this establishment, knowing full well I’m over qualified, and make less than enough to survive on without proper health care. Thank you for this opportunity!”
The cost of living in Fayetteville seems to be more equal with the wages offered, and you know what - if I can work some menial piss job flipping burgers and still be able to have my free time and make enough money to pay the bills and do a little extra every now and then, I’m completely fine with that.
I am so god damn sick of this states economy with regards to the rate of pay and the cost of living.
On a plus note
Since I’m going out of town this weekend, I’ve decided to release Bare v2.0 which now includes added lightbox support (comes with the javascript), and optional widget or non-widget theme setup. (The widgetized version has an optional sidebar and widgetable menu, about and footer section.) It also has a new menu system (just a not-so fancy mouse over thing you see on this site). I’m pretty proud of it (if I do say so myself).
Oh, and my dad brought over chocolate covered coffee beans and a card from my aunt that apparently arrived for me 5 years ago ^^. Delicious!

Dude, i absoloutely love bare :-D
I only just got round to installing 1.1 last night before bed, and started customizing it, i wake up this morning and 2.0 is out :-o
Annoying as i have to start all over again with my customization :-( but it’s so great it’s worth it, simple and perfect :-D
(I’ve annoyingly chose a black and red colour scheme, so am doing research into how to make god awful grey sumbit buttons different colours, it seems theres a javascript solution out there - http://www.wait-till-i.com/index.php?p=211 - if you want to use it too)
On a side note, would chocolate covered coffee beans still be in date from 5 years ago, dont want you to get ill and bare grind to a halt.

Well, I don’t think the coffee beans were from 5 years ago - they might have been an old Christmas present from this past year - I’m not really sure tho, but either way they were very delicious!
Thanks for the reference to the javascript solution to the grey submit buttons - I’ll take a look into it ^^
Sorry about the CSS being an update - in the future, I’ll make sure that the CSS is complete before releasing updated versions for convenience purposes :)
Fayetteville is in Arkansas - about 3 and a half hours from where Erin and I live right now - we’ll be moving there in about a month and we were going down (or up?) so I could see the city before we moved there.
