I’ve been playing Star Wars Galaxies again, and of course, I’ve been longing for the old days. Oh how I miss my TKM, AMOK, and guild hunts. At this point, I have no real reason to go into space as I am leveling myself back up from a mistaken switch in prof. just before the NGE hit.

Now what is with Chapter 7 you may wonder? Filefront.com gives a sneak peak at the new systems that will be implemented, most notably the new collection system, where “Players will not only collect badges; they will collect kills of specific creatures and rare items from across the galaxy to cash in for credits or more exotic and rare rewards yet to be revealed.”

That sounds pretty cool, especially since most of the badges that I am after now are no longer available (most of the elder prof. stuff). Also looking forward to my Chapter 7 gift (I’m a sucker for loot and the like).

They’ve also been trying to get the vets back or at least those who have been inactive for the last 90 days. Up until the 30th of September you can come back for 21 days and try out the new systems (so you can find out if it really is worth coming back). Me? I just decided to come back full force, although I may decide to re-open my old account back up for a few days just to get my stuff out of it.
