The Scarform Network is expanding.
Do you want to be a part of it? If so, and you already have your own webspace and have no need for hosting from us, and you meet the following requirements, then you could be considered for an addition as part of the Network! There are no requirements from you once you have joined other than a simple text link anywhere on your website.
- 01. Your website must be designed by you, created by you, and maintained by you. No exceptions.
- 02. Your website must contain a blog and this blog must be updated at least 5 times a month.
- 03. Your blog cannot solely exist for profit, and it can not contain spam posts.
- 04. Your website can not have any malicious code, spyware, or pop-up/pop-under advertising. Contextual advertisements are fine.
- 05. Your website must be in English, and can not be written in such a manner that it is un-readable.
- 05. In other words, No TyPiNg liKe ThIs, l1k3 th15, or LIKE THIS ALL OF THE TIME.
- 06. Your website cannot exist as a companion for a television show, movie, book, game, etc.
- 07. In other words, if you post about nothing but who did what on Survivor, then don’t bother e-mailing us.
How to apply
If you meet the above requirements, then send us an e-mail (boyevulATgmailDOTcom) with the subject line “Scarform Network” with a link to your site for evaluation. We’ll get back to you within a few days (or whenever our schedule permits).
If you are denied for any reason, please wait 31 days to re-apply.

Tired of free hosting with places like Angelfire or Geocities? Want advertisement free hosting for… well, free? If the following applies to you, then send me an email with the subject “Hosting” and a URL to your current page (for evaluation purposes) and we’ll see what we can do!
Note on Free hosting
Scarform.com will only host the following website types. This list is non-negotiable.
Personal websites
Wordpress blogs
Portfolios
Guidelines (to be used by potential hostees)
- 01. You must have an example of your work. If you do not know basic coding, then you need not apply.
- 02. Your site must be one of the 3 listed above. No exceptions.
- 03. If anybody other than yourself is found to be using your login credentials, your account will be deleted, no exceptions. We are giving this space to you, not you and your friends and everybody they know. This will also happen if we find any illegal content on your site.
- 04. If you must put music on your website, please use RadioClub. Also, please refrain from direct linking to anything other than images from other websites. This bandwidth is for Scarform.com, not insertdomain.com.
- 05. All applicants must know valid HTML, XHTML, PHP, or any other language that the site is coded in. Good design skills are a plus. We aren’t here to host the next Geocities animated .gif clone with random page elements and no style whatsoever. The selection process is a bit steep, but for a good reason.
- 06. If your site has no content to it, then don’t even bother. (See above for reasons.)
You must be at least 16 years old.
- 01. Addition to The Scarform Network (based on already listed criteria).
- 02. 1 subdirectory (http://you.scarform.com)
- 03. Wordpress installed for you in your subdirectory if you so desire.
- 04. 1 email address @ Scarform.com (you@scarform.com)
- 05. 1 MYSQL database (if needed)
- 06. 1 ftp login to ftp.scarform.com to your subdirectory
