Acrylic Madness
It’s been just a little over half a year since I painted anything. So today, I decided to break out the canvas I had laying against the wall in the living room and throw some paint on to it.
I don’t have any plastic tarp or newspaper to lay down, so I’m being more cautious with the force I exert on this one; usually I wind up flinging paint like a mad man, allowing it to explode onto the canvas (and anywhere else it may land).
Painting?
My usual median is either ink, lead or digital - but I got into painting at the end of 2005 and have loved it ever since. (Although not quite as much as the afore-mentioned medians.) I’m hoping that over time, my skills in median will grow, as will my collection of paintings.
Untitled
Right now the piece is untitled; currently it features a Little Red Riding Hood type character, faded rose type flowers and an as of yet unidentifiable second character looking over her. As I write this, I am letting the current paints dry so that I may add more without screwing up the framework I have set for it.
