Day One of the search.

Maumelle… or rather, Twin Peaks
Since Maumelle roughly translates into “two breasts”, I guess it’s not a far stone to throw to come to the misguided translation of “Twin Peaks”.

I’ve spent the better half of the day turning in applications at every establishment I come across, getting the same answer: “We’re doing interviews all next week. You’ll get a call.”

Is there no end to the maze? The rat race seems to go on forever, and the common lack of a resting point is mind blowing. But un-necessary. Perhaps I need this to wear me down, drag me out, and beat me. Maybe then I will truly “get it”.

Updates
Are far and few in-between. Right now I sit at the library, writing this entry to be published and read by ‘who knows’ and if that’s not enough of a message to you, the reader, that the updates are going to slow to a grind over the next month, take this into account: apart from the library, I have no ther way of getting on the internet.

What does this mean?
Not much. Just that if you came looking for a freshly updated blog this next month or so, sorry to disappoint - there’s still the the portfolio and the music, right?

However bleak this may seem now, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel (so to speak.)

Damn, I hope you hear back from those applications. I know how it feels to be anxiously waiting for a call-back! It’s unreal. Aww sorry to hear about the lack of internet too!

Aww good luck with your applications; its a pain the arse somewhat. Sucks that you have no internet. Hope you get it back!

Yeah - the application process has always been a pain in the ass when I’ve had to go through it. Hopefully this won’t be as much of a pain as I remember it being in the past.
