Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I’m taking a break. Let’s forget that the original Thanksgiving is found upon lies and deception and the general rape of an entire culture and its people, and let’s focus on what exactly it means to us now.
Actually, if you get past the greeting-card company family togetherness picture that has been painted for us for so long, it really doesn’t mean… anything.
It’s just another holiday to use as an excuse to eat copious amounts of food and watch mindless “entertainment” on the television until we pass out in a food induced coma.
But that’s not very Rockwell, is it?
