Into the cold dark night

The clouds rolled in silently, saturating the sky in a watery veil. What rain did fall fell unwanted, bringing with it the promise of things to come. What was once a singular event centered around an 80 degree temperature hike has now turned into a 30 degree drop to the standard of the morning of 50 degrees.

The Summer weather seems like it had just settled in to stay – of course a mere weeks before it was gone again. And from everything that I am hearing, the upcoming Winter looks as though it may be one of the coldest we’ve encountered in a very long time.

It seems as thought it is finally time to break out the blankets, long sleeves, hooded jackets, and warm beverages in replacement of the cold glasses of lemonade, shorts and short sleeves, and sunblock.

And like every year before this, the anticipated shopping spree of elbow-to-elbow rush-hour aisle 6 traffic and the mad dash to the canned goods, as if this is the first time this has ever happened in the history of anything. Something about the cold weather – it makes me people crazy. They lose sight of what’s reality, and focus on every little possibility imaginable. Of course, hot weather makes people crazy too.

You know, I think weather in general makes people a little crazy. And maybe that’s good for us. Or maybe it’s not. I don’t have all of the answers. But one thing I do know for sure – the colder weather has placed its grip upon us, and the only thing we can do is grab a hot cup of cocoa, sit back, smile, and welcome the inevitable assault on every sense we have by the crisp and biting winds of the coming Winter.

As you may have probably guessed at some point, I enjoy pornography. There’s nothing wrong with it, and I won’t go into a diatribe over the pros and cons and fall all over myself explaining anything. This isn’t the first time I’ve posted or linked to content of a pornographic nature, and it [...]
