I was somebody else

My past is complete, completion is lacking
I don’t know how any of this is reacting
Mixed in containers, I’m pretending to segment
(for the sake of a change)

Alone and in debt, I don’t know what I’m feeling
Still questioning what is real
but the light at the tunnel gets brighter
(but still the darkness feels… heavy)

Barely moving, I am barely breathing
Am I coming, going, staying, or leaving?
So many things that are left but to question
(and so many more left to doubt)

No – you’re mistaken
I’m definitely not the one
So go – just stay there
Because I am not the one

(I’m someone… else)
