Info on a few plugins

01. Evermore
Evermore is a Wordpress plugin that abbreviates all posts when viewing the main index file of your blog by returning a user defined amount of content, and then inserting a read more link at the end of that abbreviated post, either on a new line or right after the last character of the excerpt.

Why you should be careful
They don’t close off tags. So if you have something positioned using div align, and the excerpt cuts off before the closing div tag can be read, the div alignment will remain open.

02. External Links
External links puts a Wikipedia style graphic next to links on your blog that are external (link to sites other than yours).

Why you should be careful
The graphic can break your theme in certain areas, especially when you have very specific width and height definitions. If you have a very fluid and flexible design, then this plugin should not harm it.

03. Google + Alexa Page Rank
Google + Alexa Page Rank (GAPR) is a plugin that will show you your websites Google and Alexa page rank from the dashboard, and optionally, on your website/blog.

Why you should be careful
It can slow your dashboard load time, and in rare cases, keep it from loading completely. Once the dashboard has loaded the content up until the area where the ranking appears, it must then gather information from Alexa and Google. This can take a few seconds, and it can take longer.

“Oh, yeah. For a second there, I thought you said $2.50. $2.15 is [...]
