Happiness of others = me vomiting

You know what I love? More than anything else in the world? Success. I love success. And there’s nothing that I love than success. Unless it’s the success of others.

I love being able to go to any random blog and see how everyday people are just sort-of livin’ it up. Cuttin loose. Skippin’ down the road, fancy free, as they jet from one amazing culture to the next.

In no way am I bitter or resentful towards the fact that these people can just decide to go wherever they please, and see whatever they please. Why should I be resentful? I can do all of that from my computer, with the help of Google Earth. I can see China and Japan, Europe and Alaska, Russia and Italy, all from the comfort of my own home.

And if I want cusine from another country, say, Japan, all I have to do is go to one of the many Japanese restaurants here in Little Rock. Fuck authentically made in Japan, I want it authentically made in America!

I don’t need to see Tokyo in person; I saw everything I needed to on Attack of the Show. It’s like I was actually there, cracking jokes with cable television celebrities and everything!

And speaking of celebrities, while we’re on the subject of things I don’t need to do because I can do most of them from home or within a ten mile radius of my home, I don’t need to meet any in real-life because I can just meet them on Myspace and then, after they become “friends” with me, I can tell everyone I know that I am friends with a celebrity.

And to add onto that list of things I don’t have to leave the house for anymore, we can add: fresh air, work, food, a social life, sunlight, and entertainment of any kind. I’ll never have to leave the house and live my life again!

But in regards to my original thought, I’m not resentful or bitter towards another person’s ability to just cut loose and fly off to Japan or wherever, whenever they want, to live their life like it should be lived – like without having to worry about being tied down to such trivial things as jobs and such.

I love it.
